Born and raised on an Oklahoma ranch, Byron de Marsé (E-RYT 500) sees simplicity as the key component of happiness. After losing his father and experiencing a series of traumatic events, he approached to yoga. Through the practice, he felt a deep spiritual connection.
Achieving YTT certification with teachers Rudy Mettia and Travis Eliot in 2010, he immediately began teaching at Bryan Kest’s world-renowned Power Yoga studio and still does. He continued his training with Schuyler Grant and Wanderlust in Hollywood. He now has more than 10,000 hours of teaching experience, and leads several retreats around the world with Paul Teodo.
The four main points he emphasizes during classes are proper alignment, awareness of physical limitations, depth of breath, and stillness of mind. Yoga has greatly improved Byron’s physical well-being and helped him develop strong mental and emotional stability. Anyone who practices with him experiences an increase in mental and physical awareness and well-being.
